We develop and manufacture high-reliability magnetic components for aerospace applications such as launchers, satellites and space transportation systems. Our components are to be found in all European launchers, satellites and spacecraft and in many non-ESA applications for example GPS and the James Webb Space Telescope.

Flux is an ESA Technology Flow Qualified Manufacturer since 2019 based on 25 years of flight heritage - one of only five such companies worldwide. This means that we are capable of developing, manufacturing, and testing magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and chokes that live up to the highest standards imaginable - with a 0% fail-rate and with the stringent testing of all materials and finished products.

Our products are used for power units, motor controls, interfaces, star-trackers, science equipment, gyro, and docking systems.

Development

We are also a pioneer in the development of bespoke magnetic components for electrical propulsion for satellites, for example, have developed components for the world's first fully electrical telecommunications satellite, the Eutelsat 172B. launched in 2017.
